A pleasant surprise, excellent value for money. Paid € 65 for a clean, well equipped room with view on the beach and including breakfast. Corridors are somewhat outdated, but reception area and basement breakfast area have been renewed. Rooms pretty much ok. Ver!ry friendly staff. Evening receptionist spoke a handful of languages, including English, French, Dutch, Spanish... Loacted almost on the Canteras beach, but beware - that is a very long way from the old city cente

the location is excellent. There is a very Spanish feel to the area rather than a purely tourist one. The public areas have been up-dated.
-
Location to the beaches and walks around the area. Wifi.
No air conditioning, very basic room facilities. Poor breakfast, some of the foods of which were stale.
-
Very friendly staff. Location with sea view room is excellent.
Very aged furniture. No air conditioning in the rooms.

Rooms are ok, but the best is location. If you book sea-side view the view is excellent specially on 5th and 6th floor. Hotel location is very good, close to beach and restaurants. Hotel has a good discount in big garage located relatively close to hotel.
Breakfast was terrible, every day the same kind of cheese (plastic) and ham (cheep), without any hot dishes like eggs or sausages and with boring variety of fruits. It is ok for one day stay but for 8 days not. At the end we use to brought our own fruit, ham and fresh natural juice from the neighbor store.

The Hotel was near the beach and Las Canteras Promenade which we knew, though local taxi drivers do not know where it was!! Due to problems with the original descriptions on Booked.net website the hotel rang me within a few minutes of my booking to explain I'd paid for an inner room and therefore no view. As it turned out due to the hotel being quiet we got a room with a balcony and very good view up Las Canteras towards the Alfredo Krauss Auditorium, Reception staff apart from 1 female were excellent and couldn't help enough. The 1 female was always on her mobile or the hotel phone obviously talking to friends Access to the local bus service was excellent. Yellow bus No 1!
The noise on an night time/early hours!!!! The bedding on my bed was all torn and the mattress was well past its sell by date. Though I did turn it over and it made it a little more bearable. Only usable plug was in the bathroom. The shower was powerful but due to the design of the very small bathroom the shower head was positioned so that the jet hit the taps rather than you!!!

The location is splendid, providing clean, comfortable rooms. Hotel staff efficient and extremely friendly. For our next trip - already reserved - we chose the non-breakfast option preferring to eat at one of the many little restaurants around. Breakfast provided was perfectly adequate and the staff member extremely efficient and friendly, however, we found many of the other guests somewhat aggressive. Not the hotel's fault!

Comfortable hotel, very nice staff.
There was only one electric plug, so you had to decide whether to switch off the tv or the refrigerator, let alone the cell charger..

The south facing balcony with great view of beach, sea, mountains and streets. We booked "sea view". Modern lobby, with wifi - not lavish but bright and clean. Generally staff were friendly and helpful - told us where to get busses etc
Breakfast was done on the cheap: Not real fruit juice(when most local bars did freshly squeezed, then at least we would expect juice as good as we drink in uk). Coffee only from machine, bread not very fresh. Would have liked kettle +coffee+ tea in room. The reception staff were all helpful. No reason why they should have fluent English but we would have been better off if they had said they did not understand rather than appearing to understand completely what we said: [At end of our stay we had a misunderstanding. We asked for late checkout til 3pm, in English as we don't speak much Spanish, and the guy said ok, no problem, no extra charge. What happened was that we got a knock on the room door at 3am to say there was a taxi waiting! Then at checkout time told there would be extra charge if we stayed in room til 3pm]

Location was convenient - close to Canteras beach and restaurants on promenade. Two gentlemen working on Reception were kind & friendly.
Unfortunately the area around the hotel was generally quite noisy, and sound-insulation was not very good. Breakfast was quite low quality with little choice.
